​Individual and Group Support

Blue Steps Integrated Health serves as an NDIS provider, offering customised, individualised, secure, and high-quality support services to people with disabilities. Our dedicated team of trained and qualified professionals actively contributes to our community's well-being. With our certified support workers, Allied Health trained Support coordinators, Psychologists, Nurses and Counsellors we aim to provide you and your family with enhanced peace of mind.

 

We offer a diverse array of NDIS support services, customised to cater to individuals of all ages and requirements. Allow us to assist you in cultivating the skills necessary for autonomous management of your daily tasks.

 

With the support of the NDIS, you gain access to the assistance required for leading a fulfilling life. These provisions encompass aspects such as health and well-being, education, employment, self-reliance, and active community participation. The NDIS provides you with the assurance that you will receive lifelong support.

Nursing, Psychology and Counselling

 

We provide individual therapy or counselling with qualified and registered (ACA) counsellors and qualified and registered psychologists (AHPRA) that gives you the opportunity to talk confidentially about any concerns that may be impacting your mental health and well-being.

 

We offer short-term and ongoing therapy sessions with counsellors and psychologists who provide evidence-based treatment and resources tailored to meet your individual needs. We conduct our sessions in line with New South Wales Health guidelines, which are subject to change. We offer Telehealth appointments available by phone or through Zoom and face-to-face.

Blue Steps Integrated Health has highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurses with some specialising in Paediatrics with dedication to providing exceptional care for children and families. With extensive experience in managing complex nursing plans, our nurses excel in conducting thorough continence and developmental assessments, tailoring care strategies to meet each individual's unique needs. Whether it's coordinating comprehensive care for chronic conditions, supporting developmental milestones, or providing expert advice on specialised nursing tasks, IHA offers a holistic approach to healthcare, ensuring the best outcomes for participants.

Support Coordination
(Delivered by Allied Health professionals)

Our support coordination services are flexible and can be tailored to your needs through various delivery options. We can meet with you in person-whether at your home or another community location of your choice. Alternatively, we offer virtual support across Australia via phone, email, and video conferencing, providing you with the flexibility to access support from anywhere in Australia.

 

At the heart of every NDIS Plan is you; the most important person in the process. Whether you need assistance with daily activities, setting up service agreements, or addressing complex challenges, we're here to work alongside you.

 

  • Build a tailored circle of support around your specific needs

  • Help you navigate your NDIS Plan, focusing on maximizing its value with creativity and flexibility

  • Connect you with providers and services that align with your goals, such as mental health, psycho-social disability, housing, employment, education, health, and justice

  • Regularly check in to ensure your chosen providers are meeting your expectations

  • Provide support for any unexpected challenges that may arise

Nursing Services Provided

    •    Individualised continence plans for bladder, bowel, enuresis, and neurodevelopmental-related constipation

    •    Education for families and staff on toileting strategies, hygiene, and equipment use

    •    Coordination with NDIS providers to align care with goals and funding

    •    Trial samples, detailed NDIS reports, and support navigating systems

Caite delivers trauma-informed, accessible health education to families and carers, translating medical information into plain language. We advocate for children’s dignity and inclusion, and help families navigate both the NDIS and healthcare systems. With Caite’s Nurse Educator Background, she can build sector capacity by training support workers, educators, and clinicians in:

    •    Paediatric continence care

    •    Inclusive, developmentally appropriate practice

    •    Behaviour and communication strategies


Medication Administration

  • Training on medical conditions (seizures, EoE)

  • Training on medical equipment such as CPAP, BiPAP, Trache’s, NGT’s

​

Caite can also mentor emerging clinicians and advise organisations on improving child health outcomes. Caite helps families access programs like the Companion Card, and work with community organisations to promote inclusive participation. We liaise with NDIS and government agencies to ensure coordinated, child-focused care.

 

Caite is willing to travel to remote locations to offer face to face services, or Telehealth services.
